I have taken to walking three miles every evening. Well, I try to make it every evening. If I don't go it's usually because there is wind. That or I'm feeling terribly lazy. I'm working on it, though. I'm pretty proud of myself. I usually walk with Mike and I sincerely enjoy it. It's like couple activity time rather than exercise. Often, though, Mike has to work and I'm out walking by myself. My drive to still go out, even without him, makes me happy. I realized a few weeks ago that if I waited for him to get home it increased my chances of staying home... who feels like getting exercise after they've already wound down for the day? Not me. So now if he's running late, I just go. I feel good and I know I'll be hitting my long term goals in a shorter time than I thought.

I admire your drive to get out there and enjoy yourself. I totally know what you mean about exercising before you wind down for the day, too. =)
you are a HERO! I cannot even fathom walking 1/3 of a mile much less 3 miles after work. Hell, I can barely muster the gumption to come hoem and make dinner (which lately I have not been doing either). In any case, good for you and keep it up!
Good for you.
